June again and slowly but surely it is time to get the dresses out. This month, like every year, is the official start of the parade season, celebrating the anniversary of the gay rights movement for freedom and equality of everyone.

Throughout the world, many gay cosmopolitan cities including Madrid, Paris, Amsterdam, Cologne, London, New York, Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, Seattle, Los Angeles and San Francisco are getting prepared for a hectic but fun party time.

But it is not just about the parties. In most cities the “Pride” offers many social, sporting, cultural and political events, with the grand final, parades through the cities followed by parties at various venues which allow for many interactions with others.

Watch out for us, Ryan will be in London, Lars and I will be in Cologne.
