The European Union has always been a good location to the community of gays and Amsterdam is easily one of the most gay friendly cities of the continent. It is very easy to find Bars, Hotels and Clubs, where you can spend lots of time. In fact, there are an estimated 100 (possibly more) gay friendly establishments.

Amsterdam Gay Hotels

If you are looking for a friendly gay hotel, the Amsterdam ITC it is. It is one of the most exclusive hotels and is about as gay friendly as it can get. The property is in a Canal house and brings all the charms Amsterdam has to offer. 

The Golden Bear was the first amongst the Amsterdam gay hotels. The hotel is open to both gays and lesbians. It is located in buildings that date back to the 17th century. You can have single rooms with double beds and its location is extremely helpful if you want to do some quick sight seeing. The hotel even provides museum ticketing facilities so you can avoid the queues.

Amsterdam Gay Clubs

Exit is one of the best gay clubs in Amsterdam and is spread across four floors. The club is so good that even though it is named Exit, you would hardly want to get out of the place.

Cockring, good name, is another good place to go. It is extremely popular and if you visit on a Sunday or Thursday, you get to see a remarkable live show.

Amsterdam Gay Bars

"There is no use of going for a holiday, if you cannot drown yourself in a bucket of beer." With the city being friendly to gays, there is a lot to choose from:

Club Church is amongst the hottest and most happening Amsterdam gay bars in town. It is open from every Wednesday to Sunday and the club chooses a different theme every night. There is a special s... area in the bar and a dark room. In fact, this is one of the first places in Amsterdam to have a dark room built according to the requirements and preferences of gay customers.

Another choice is The Eagle, which is located just about a few streets down the old one. It is also a pretty happening place and is open from 11 PM to 4 AM. There are special cabins, really great cruising and pool tables. You can also find a small wooden house. The Eagle has it own darkroom and Leather.

There is no doubt that when it comes to a destination for gay, Amsterdam tops the list.

Yes The Eagle, Cockring and Exit are great places to go!
