For those of you who simply cannot wait until next June to fill your Pride quota, Buenos Aires Pride Week begins October 27, 2008 and culminates with a March on November 1st at 18:00 at Plaza de Mayo (in front of the Casa Rosada) and proceeds along Av. De Mayo to the Capitol.  Officially, the November date commemorates the November 1967 founding of Argentina’s (and Latin America’s) first gay Rights organization, Nuestro Mundo.  I suspect that it also has something to do with the fact that a Pride event in late June or July would fall during winter and cold weather and Pride just don’t mix.
