There's many rumours that London's gay clubbing culture is about to crash and die. The centre of the gay scene for over a centutry - the notorious Soho - has experienced a series of closures over the past couple of years and now with the credit crunch many more venues are about to suffer.
As reported by Homovision, we have seen Astoria (where G.A.Y was infamous for its weekly shows), Ghetto (the only alternative club in the area of any worth) and now Soho Revue Bar is expected to go next (caberet meets the alternative crowd).
Britain is experiencing its exodus of perhaps worthless places to visit - but then on the other hand some have been round for so long it is sad to see them go.
