The Sambradrome is a large parade route with stalls and seating either side to watch 10 hours of parades hosted by 12 Samba Schools during the annual festival.
Each parade lasts around 75 minutes across two days starting at 9pm - 6am. It is a most amazing wonderous site and worth the money. I advise buying the tickets on arrival as they will be significantly cheaper in Reals than US$. You can expect to pay between £75 - 200 a ticket - but worth every single penny.
