Here in Berlin for ITB staying in Schoneberg with my university friend Denis. Pretty central and only 15 minutes from the tradeshow which ideal for waking early.

However the show is massive too many floors too many rooms too many people too many names and a pocket full of business cards. I have spoken to people from Argentina, Copanhagen, Paris, Turkey, India, Calgary, Chicago and the list goes on - talk about doing the world in three days!

Last night I visited the new Axel Hotel Berlin, launched on a couple of weeks ago - fantastic - once Nicholas, Brand Manager, has loaded the details I will review what I saw...including the chocolates on the pillows (not chocolates at all - condoms)! Then we went to Hotel Berlin Berlin for the official gay and lesbian tourism party and got totally bamboozled on Cava, boogied until 2am and stumbled home.

It was a wonderful evening of networking - which is one of my favourite hobbies - meeting new people, discovering new ideas and flirting outrageously of course...until I got followed and cornered in the bathroom - but all is okay - I'm a big boy and managed to run before he had chance to touch me.

I'm totally disppointed in lesbians - there are none (okay, so I met two from Rio) but still - bring it on ladies!!!
