 9pm "David, u ready?" It's been ages since I've last been out due to my full work schedule and I'm dying to see my college mates in Lapa tonight. Lapa is this major street party that takes place every friday night in the city centre in Rio de Janeiro. It's located in one of the most bohemian neighbourhoods in Rio, Santa Tereza and is famous for its many bars and danceclubs for all tastes and types of people. DETAIL: the party is in the street.

 It's 11:13pm and David isn't ready yet. Shit, I need some vodka.

 01:00am At last we're at Lapa. I can feel people elbowing me through the crowd, the smell of fags and alcohol is in the air. Nothing healthy, nothing good. That's the way I like it.

 04:15am "Fuck! I'm gonna be sick: arrgghhhhbruuuuu, fuck, fuck!" Mates, I definitely shouldn't've had that grape thing. "what grape thing?" lol. "that one you gave me, David"..."I ain't given u nothing", "no?"...¬¬"

 06:30 "I'm off now...need a cab" I completely forgot I've got to run to work right now. I'm still a bit tipsy and raggedy. i hope my pupils don't notice my hangover. :) Now I need a cup of coffee, my head is exploding!

it literally means: White men that dwell in houses; the native Brazilian people that lived here already when the Portuguese arrived called them that.
