Brighton is the perfect seaside town to visit during the summer months and hosts the best British Pride. The city based on the south coast of the UK boasts a mega-pebbled beach, an idyllic town centre and one of the largest European gay communities. Brighton's beach has recently been awarded a blue flag.

Much can be said about Brighton; it has history, charm and most of all personality. It has one of the biggest attendances for gay pride that is probably the most family orientated Pride in the UK.

The area goes by Brighton and Hove to form a combined city and has been popular with visitors since the inception of the railway in the 1840's. The town hosts three major landmarks; the Royal Pavilion, Brighton Pier and the now burnt-out West Pier.

Brighton beach has a designated official nudist area (south of the easterly part of Kemptown). This is unusual in that very few naturist beaches in the United Kingdom are located within urban areas.

The town is home to performances to the UK’s best bands and is the centre of British politics once a year as part of its extensive conference programme.

Brighton Pride is a carnival style parade through the city and a party and funfair in Preston Park. There is also a "Winter Pride" in February each year.
