Cologne

Is one of the oldest cities of Germany and one of the fourth largest cities as well. It is located in North Rhine Westphalia and it lies on the river rhine. If you are planning to visit Cologne , you should come in the summer as there are a lot of beautiful parks and bear gardens in the rhine area where you can sit and enjoy.

If you are in history you will find several museums and of course the gothic cathedral.

Compared to other cities you will find a special department called Gay City Management which takes care of several events etc.

Cologne offers roughly 90 Gay and Lesbian bars and saunas in addition to the famous events like the Carnival and the CSD which takes place every July. The CSD started back in 1995 as a small demonstration but today this is a huge parade with several trucks and other special things going on.
