Corfu

Corfu (the second largest of the Ionian Islands) is a Greek island in the Ionian Sea. It lies off the coast of Sarande, Albania, from which it is separated by straits varying in breadth from 3 to 23 km.                     

Although a lot of flirting going on and honourable history of Gay and Lesbian Culture in Greece, Greeks are not fully open to show the homosexuality as the society is not comparable with other European countries.

The Islands itself has a lot of history and Greek mythology, for example the Greek name Kerkya comes from the women Kerkya and Poseidon felt in love with this women and therefore back at this time he offered her to take her name for the unnamed island

The principal town of the island is also named Corfu and has his own University called Ionian University.
