Copenhagen

Overview

Other European Capitals might be showier, but a few are friendlier or more welcoming to gay and lesbian visitors than Copenhagen.

Compared to London and Paris you can get affordable accommodation. Copenhagen and the surrounding counties have 3 beaches with a total of approx. 8km of sandy beaches within 30 minutes bicycling from the city centre. This includes Amager Strandpark, a 2 km long artificial island which opened in 2005 and is located just 15 minutes by bicycle from the city centre.

Culture

Duriing the night Copenhagen becomes more interesting for people who like bars, clubs, concert venues and discos as they come alive and give you the opportunity to get really close to the Copenhageners and their way of life. You can have party through the whole nights up to the morning.
