Warsaw

Overview

Warsaw is the capital of Poland and the largest city. It is located on the Vistual River and the 8th biggest city in the European Union.The most gay accommodations are located in the center, and you should use one of those if you are planning a trip. Best time to visit Warsaw is between April and November.Compared to the other destinations you will not find that many gay venues in Warsaw.

Culture

Travel Information

If you come by plane you should use the Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport, as this is the biggest one from Poland and just 10 k away from the city centre. Due to the short distance to the city centre it is easy to take a taxi,bus or shuttle bus. In the last years a lot of low cost airlines added Warsaw to their destinations , so check out to get a good deal. Travelling by car will work as well but for some countries (including the US) it is required to have an international drive license or a polish driver license. Bus Services is offered for the entire city. During the night (0.00 – 5.00 am) night lines buses are operating.In addition to buses you can also use trams, metro and railways. Warsaw is one hub for the whole Poland railway system.
