Budapest the capital of Hungary and it´s principal political,commercial,industrial,cultural and transportation centre. In the past Budapest (up to 1873) was two different cities Buda and Obuda.It is located at the river Danube.Many people consider Budapest as one of the beautiful cities in the world.When you look at the average visitors (20 million a year) this seems to be reasonable.In the last years it has become the third most popular destination in the world for a luxury weekend.
Culture
You should go between early April to middle November. The gay scene has emerged in the last years in the Eastern Europe and Budapest has benefit from this, and is know as gay metropolis for this area.The best place to stay is the Budapest Pest Side as here you will find most of the gay venues.There are a lot of places you should visit if you are interested in history, culture and natural beauty. Roman Ruins, Heroes Square and the Statue Part are just some of the places you should visit.
Equality
There is still quite a bit of homophobia in the city, yet many are very welcoming to visitors. Many gay men in particular have wifes at home and go out to play, even the bars are hidden behind dark doors or discreet entrances.
It is reasonably safe but it is worth not displaying too much to avoid any unpleasant incidents with locals

In the east of the centre you will find the Budapest Ferihegy International Airport. This Airport serves a lot of different airlines which includes low cost carrier.Once you have arrived in Budapest you use the well developed public transportation. You will find buses,trollybuses,trams,suburban railway,metro and even boats.This system convince a lot of people to use it as the intervals between the trains etc are very short an the service is 24 hours ( in the night it as less frequented than over the day)
