Since 28 years, Aspen Gay Ski Week has gained the reputation of hosting the most exclusive and explosive winter entertainment. This annual event is the highlight of Aspen's gay calendar and features an abundance of entertainment including parties, sports, films and dancing.

Gay & Lesbian Ski Weeks is sponsored by the Roaring Fork Gay and Lesbian Community Fund (RFGLCF) & attracts over 5,000 gay and lesbian visitors to Aspen for the one-week annual extravaganza who are fond of circuit parties, gay pride festivals, and welcoming resort destinations into one very festive package. It takes place in 2012 from January 15 through January 22 and consists of dozens of cool events. This week-long party is especially a fun for skiers and snowboarders, but you might be surprised to see in this event that many of the events can be also enjoyed by those who don’t ski. 

Gay Ski Week in Aspen consists of a wide range of activities, including après ski parties and cocktail receptions at a number of great bars and restaurants around town. There are also numerous lunch and dinner events; a free-for-all pool party; a comedy night; and a riot of hot performers and DJs. Gay Ski Weeks are also an excellent time for beginners to take lessons. 

During gay ski week, there's always plenty going on around Aspen, and it's easy to find "family" at any number of locals bars and restaurants. 

Book in advance your hotels as Aspen accommodations can be very expensive as they fill up fast in ski season. The schedule for this event will be set in the fall but we know you are going to love it.
