Brighton Event: Brighton Pride 2008

This has got to be one of the better Prides in the UK. A full parade through the town and along the seafront, followed by a big bash in Preston Park full of tents with every music choice under the sun.

The pride festival includes plenty of fun with people coming from all across the South for the day - quite a family affair too.

After finishing at Preston Park at 7pm, the party moves to the streets by all the main bars in the city centre. At midnight make sure you have plans; the bars shut and your left to the clubs, the beach or your hotel room to continue the celebrations.

Make sure you take sunscreen!
