This year’s Copenhagen’s Gay and Lesbian Film Festival are going to start on 21st October 2011 and will continue till 30th October 2011 at Copenhagen, Denmark. For this year, Copenhagen festival brings wonderful collection of movies and documentaries for their fantastic audience. This festival is organized by volunteers and depends on fund raised by ticket sales, debates, parties etc. These events are organized to make public relations and overall exposure of LGBT community.

Main control is handled by steering committee followed by different group to assign different task related to the festival. Each group is guided and controlled by a coordinator to make sure assigned task to complete on time. Over all this organization is a combined effort of volunteers and LGBT community people of Denmark. The festival run as a non-profitable event and no salaries paid to the participants and volunteers for their contribution towards the festival. 

Submissions are welcomed for this year event; you can send your entries in form of DVD disc, colored stills, and director’s biography to organization. You can also contact the committee members on kontakt@cglff.dk. Copenhagen’s Gay and Lesbian Film Festival also offer various awards to submitted films during the submission. These awards include Best film Award, Jury Award for best shorts, best documentary film award and the audience award for best film. Cash prices will be given directly to the winning film director.
