The “Pride March Victoria “is an annual gay Pride festival which is held every year in Victoria. The 17th Annual Pride March will be held in February 2012.Thd aim behind organizing the “Pride March Victoria” is to celebrate the people  that inspire the courage, solidarity, pride, diversity and strong sense of community of Victoria's gay, lesbian, bisexual, intersex and transgender people. The venue for the Pride event will be the corner of Fitzroy Street and Lakeside Drive. The March will be going down towards the Fitzroy Street and will be culminating in an open air celebration which will be held in Catani Gardens.

 Every year there is different theme for the festival. The theme for the next year’s pride festival will be held under the Inter Pride theme of “Pride Links Us Together”. The  17th anniversary celebrations  which will be held in the  Catani Gardens will  also be including  the Skinovate Karaoke stage and bar, the Gaydar.com.au Main Stage and bar and the MCV Community Village and entertainment stage. Pride march Victoria recognizes the involvement of the Victoria Police lead by the Chief Commissioner of Police, Mr. Simon Overland. In fact the Commissioner Overland will also be one of the speakers on the stage at Catani Gardens.

Pride March Victoria is a free event and it recognises the people that inspire the courage, solidarity, pride, diversity and strong sense of community of Victoria's Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex community. Pride March Victoria is also a member of Interpride. The “King and Queen of Pride” event will also be held for the first time in 2012.  This year’s Pride March Victoria’s celebrations in Catani Gardens will be a no BYO event.
