Whistler Gay Pride or Whistler Winter Pride 2012 will be the 20th the annual Ski/Snowboard Week pride festival of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community. The celebration will be held from 5th of February to 12th of February at Whistler, BC. Whistler is the western Canada's coolest, ostentatious and gay-friendliest ski town. The city is a place frequented especially for holidays in the Coast Mountains of British Columbia, Canada which is situated 125 km (78 miles) North of Vancouver. Winter Pride 2012 – Canada gay ski is the winter celebration. the pride week also has been named as the best gay ski week in the world. Thousands of people from all over the world come together n Whistler for a week’s skiing and holidays and partying.

The Winter PRIDE is one of the most interesting pride events ever it celebrates. The main attraction of pride was the Mr. Gay World Competition in 2009. The theme for was "Around the World in Eight Days". In addition of Mr. Gay World Competition the organization arranges many more events including women(après-ski fetes, mountain-climbing parties) and for bears, activities which including dog riding, motor vehicle tour, laughing yoga, wine maker dinners, comedy and fashion show and the parties include Mountaintop at 7000' and Snowball etc...

The opening, closing ceremony and party are very eye-caching events and you can enjoy some cocktail and champagne mix.
