Berlin has long been known for its relaxed and chic gay scene, and so, fittingly, Berlin LGBTs have organised an event that is both poignant, political and sexy to mark the International Day Against Homophobia (IDAHO).
This year will be the third annual Kiss Marathon. Hundreds of LGBTs and supportive straights will grab their partners (or anyone willing who happens to be wandering by) for a good old movie-snog to “protect every kiss” from homophobic discrimination.
All this kissing will take place at the Homomahnmal in Berlin Zoo, opposite the Holocaust Memorial, and 3 minutes from the Potsdamer Place Station.
