Central Alabama Pride is a major gay pride occasion celebrated in the city of Birmingham of Alabama of United States. It is a mega occasion celebrated for 10 days at a stretch. It was celebrated from 5th June to 14th June in the year 2009.

Like all other prides, colourful parades are witnessed during these days. Apart from a lot of music, dance and drinks, this pride event also has a social side to it. Special commitments to fight against HIV/AIDS are also incorporated in the gay pride occasion. The occasion authorities always strived to make best arrangements for the gay community in gay hotels. During these 10 days, the cities gay bars and pubs come alive each night with the world’s gay population descending on them.
