The Original GLBT Expo is celebrated each year in New York in United States to facilitate gay activities in the west. It was celebrated for two days on 21st and 22nd March in the year 2009 with a lot of enthusiasm to encourage gay activities. Gay prides are now a part of this community and are celebrated as a mark of gay rights and freedom.

For the last 17 years the Expo has been a major event in New York. Every year more and more gay individuals take part in the parade and the events organised in this respect. Grand fests and parties are organised to celebrate gay freedom and spread gay harmony in the general population. Over 20,000 transsexuals participated in the occasion last year and made it a massive success. Every member of the event enjoys the GLBT Expo with pride and freeness.

Various musical events are organised and the city comes alive with 24 hour entertainment. Held in March each year, New York has the perfect climate at that time of the year for thorough enjoyment. Funds are also collected each year during the event which are used to set up small industries for the GLBT community.
