Milwaukee in Wisconsin in USA accommodates a sizeable gay population and hosts Pride Parade every year in the mud week of June. In 2009, the Pride Parade was organized in Milwaukee on June 14. The Pride Parade is an important festival in Milwaukee. The Pride Parade accommodates floats, dancers, amplified music, drag queens, etc. The Parade begins at the intersection of 2nd Street and Greenfield Avenue and ends at the intersection of 2nd Street and Seeboth Avenue.

As with all other prides, a pride parade is seen at the start of the event. Here, all the gay population plus the tourists move to the streets of the city in the most colorful clothing. Many vibrant colored floats can also been during the parade. Other musical events, concerts and dances follow the parade. The festival includes an award ceremony as well that includes a host of categories such as Best Float, Best Marching Unit and many similar other categories.
