OutSpokane Rainbow festival and Pride parade is the largest celebration in Eastern Washington that celebrates the freedom of all Gay, lesbian, transgender or questioning people collectively called the GLBTQA community of Spokane. The festival is organized by OutSpokane, an organization that funds, hosts and co-ordinates this festival.

The festival has grown impressively over the last few years. An exhilarating size of the crowd assembles together every year for the festival. The Pride Parade, which starts from the north side of the downtown accommodated walkers and traditional Dykes on Bikes. The festival has quite a host of family centered events too with certain events aimed at kids. The festival has evolved to accommodate the gay people who are raising kids. The kids can buy rainbow bracelets and pendants from the vendors and can wear them throughout the year.

The kids have separate events throughout the day. On the other hand, their parents too have events such as drag show, movie night, cruise on the lakes, etc. The event also includes Mr. and Ms. Gay Spokane awards dinner, annual Rainbow awards and an Interdenominational Pride Worship festival. The festival will be celebrated in 2011 on June 11, Saturday.
