If you are a supporter of lesbians, bisexuals and gays, the Central New York Pride organization is for you. The organization has been framed to cheer and empower such group of people and their families. This association organizes events in their support every year in Syracuse, New York.

The Central New York Pride Association was incorporated in the year 1996 in New York. This organization is totally tax-exempt and not-for-profit and looks forward to serving the lesbians, transgender communities, bisexuals and the gays. The yearly Pride and Parade function provides a platform to every individual to assert his own sexual identity. In this function people from every religion, region and field come together and interact.

In the events organized, there is no discrimination on the basis of identity, age, caste, gender, HIV status, nationality or sexual orientation. Any interested person can participate in any of these events. Just a participation form is required to be filled up. The festival has marked a great rise in terms of popularity within few years of its inauguration. In 2007, the Central New York Pride festival listed a huge number of 6000 participants only from New York.

Apart from the annual festival, the Central New York Pride also organizes several events that are fund raising and help the organization to fulfill their mission. The association is also involved in several shows, concerts and movies. Members of the association meet every second Tuesday in the New York office. The association is always open for supportive volunteers and looks forward to possess a global support.
