On the River Rhine in north-west Germany. By Air: readily accessible from Cologne-Bonn and Düsseldorf airports. By Train: regular services from Frankfurt, Berlin, Brussels, Paris and many other points to Köln Hauptbahnhof or Deutzer Bahnhof. By Car: off the A1, A3 and A4 motorways.
