The beautiful city of New York is going to celebrate the NYC Gay Pride 2010 this year for seven days in June. This Gay Pride is being celebrated by last many years. This year this is going to start from June 19 to June 27. This one of the leading event is being celebrated to honor the rights of the lesbian and gay and in the memory of Stonewall Riots which started in the year 1969 on June 28. On the last day of the entire Gay pride festival, NYC Gay Pride 2010 Parade will be held along with the annual dance.
The actual purpose of the parade is to memorialize or honor the riots at the Stonewall Inn. Now the Stonewall riots are considered as the major turning point in the movement for the Gay Rights. But today NYC Gay Pride 2010 Parade is a cheerful festive event which draws a big crowd. The crowd includes the number more than 1 million spectators and the participants from around the Metro New York area. The vibrant costumes and dresses are the main attraction of this even every year. The organizers always remind the participants about the law of New York State against the nudity below the belt.
