Boston Gay Pride is the second largest event of the area. Boston Gay Pride 2010 is a much awaited event which is scheduled to start in mid June of this year. The main events of the festival like neighborhood block parties, festivals and the main parade are due to take place over the weekend that is, 12th and 13th of June. The rest of the events are to will be held all through the week. These are community related events which are held by various community organizers. Pride Day Celebration at Faneuil Hall is a famous event which will be held on Saturday the 5th of June. The theme for the festival this year is “Riots to Rights-celebrating 40 years of progress”. The event will be organized by the Boston Pride Committee.

Boston Gay Pride Parade is the most important event of the festival and it starts at noon. On the same day Boston Pride Festival starts off with lots of fun and enjoyment. It takes place at City Hall Plaza. On Sunday GLBT Block Parties continue the fun. The venue for Boston Gay Pride is City Hall, Boston MA. Such is the apprehension of the event that the preparations are in full swing from now on. Hotels and lodges are being book from beforehand.
