There is still some time for the Capital Pride Washington to start but the event organizers have started to hum already. Capital Pride 2010 will be organized by Whitman-Walker Clinic. It is a non-profit provider of social services and health care in Washington DC, it is community based organization.

Additional support will be rendered by gay organizations like: The Center, Capital Area Interweave, and the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, DC Black Pride, The Human Rights Campaign, The Mautner Project, Northern Virginia AIDS Ministry One in Ten, Dignity/Washington, the Westminster Presbyterian Church and the Radical Faeries.

The Capital Pride is scheduled to start on 4th June and will go on to continue till 13th of the same month. The events of the Festival are Capital Pride Parade which is supposed to start on 12th June from 6.30 pm till 8 pm. It will take place at 23rd and P Streets, NW, Washington DC. The following event is the Capital Pride Street Festival which will start on 13th June 2010 from 11am to 6pm. The venue is Pennsylvania Ave. between 3rd and 7th Street, NW. general public is also allowed to take part in the event. The organizers, volunteers and event managers are working in full swing to make the Capital Pride 2010 see the light of the day.
