Honolulu Pride festival will start on 5th of June this year. The Festival is a week long celebration full of events, shows, parties, rallies and parades. The venue of the event is Honolulu, HI 96815. The pride parade event will be sponsored by Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG). The parade will start at Ala Moana Beach Park and will continue to Kapiolani Park. The parade starts at 9.30 am and continues till noon.

The Honolulu Pride Foundation manages all the events of the Pride Festival. The preparations for the event are in full force much before the actual event. Funds are being raised and sponsors are being sought. The event is managed by volunteers who help out every year. The Pride has many events where both adults and kids can take part easily. The festival is scheduled to take place from Saturday to Thursday. These days will be full of fun, food and entertainment. Various music artists will perform at the event. The parade is scheduled for Saturday. Gay friendly hotels and bars around the city will have celebrations too. They hold many parties dedicated to gays. They also give special discounts and perks to the gays. Honolulu Pride is a much awaited event for gays.
