Columbus Pride Festival 2010 is scheduled to take place on 18th June and will commence on 20th June 2010. Every year, the festival took place at Bicentennial Park which is between the Scioto River and South Front Street. This year, however, the scenario is different. The fore mentioned park is under construction and hence can not hold the festival.

The organizers have settled for the next alternative route for the parade. Now, the Columbus Pride parade will start from Goodale Park and will go to downtown Columbus and then back to the park. The date also needed modification as the ComFest takes place during the same time. The estimated attendees for the festival are 180,000. People come at Columbus Gay Pride to celebrate the gay hood and enjoy two days loaded with fun and music. There is much to do on these two days: people can take the advantage of the traditional festival and have a good time or else they can watch new rock bands that will be performing on the scheduled dates. Due to some chaos last year, the organizers have already given their nods to book the tables well in advance.
