Pridefest SA is scheduled to be held on 12th June 2010. The organizers are running post and pillar to make this event a great success. This year the event is going to be much different from the other years. The Pridefest SA 2010 is expecting about 11,000 attendees. HemisFair Park is going to be the main attraction of the event and care is being taken to give it a whole new concept and look. The vendors will be given place to line up at the park walkways and an additional line of beer vendors will also be given space to be a part of the Pridefest. The games and competitions will be held for the gays. The winners of the competitions will be named “Pride Idols”. The finalists will be given many attractive prizes like cash, photo shoot and recording sessions or even a vacation. The Institute of Texan Cultures' Folklife Festival will also be taking place simultaneously next door. The theme of Pridefest SA this year is “Bringing Unity to the Community through Diversity.” The theme very well speaks of the spirit is the celebrations.
