Tulsa Pride 2010 is sponsored by George Kaiser Family Foundation and Spiro Properties and Oklahomans for Equality.
Event will start on 4th of June; preparations have been started since a long time. The event will be organized by volunteers who are already gathering up to lend a helping hand. The Tulsa Gay Pride Festival will feature Diversity Festival which will start at 11 am and continues till 11 pm. This event starts on Saturday at Centennial Park. The event will be full of fun and frolic for adults as well as for kids. Rides like water slides, mechanical bull and rock climbing are also being planned to include in the festival. There will be ample supply of good food and also a chance to meet the important personalities. Tulsa Pride Parade will be held in the evening in Brady Art District which is located at Brady and Main St. then it continues till Centennial Park festival grounds in the south east. All details will be made available in the local gay newspapers. The hotels, motels and bars which are gay friendly have their own celebrations and put up discounts and parties for the gays.
