Winnipeg Pride will be held on 6th of June this year. The location of the festival will be Manitoba Legislature, Fords Market, and Winnipeg. It is the most awaited event for the gay community.
The Winnipeg Pride Rally will start at the legislative building where all the participants as well as the audience gather. They will march through the downtown Winnipeg Streets. The Pride March is scheduled to conclude at historic Forks Market. The rally participants will then be presented by a free outdoor concert featuring many artists. All through the rally people carry flags, rainbow strips and floats to show the spirit. This celebration is a way of showing pride in the community.

Next is the Lambda Business Fair & Market. It will be held under a huge tent at the festival grounds itself. Here, people can meet organizers of the community group, businessmen and supporters of GLBT. It will be a very interactive site. Sample products from the local craftsmen, artists will also be available. It gives them a platform to display their crafts. The Winnipeg Pride parade will end at the festival grounds or rather at The Forks Market. At the end, there will lots of entertainment and fun in store for the visitors.
