Like many other cities, Houston Pride for gay communities residing in that area also takes place in the end of the month of June. For the year 2010, the Houston Gay Pride has been scheduled to take place on June 26. This year the event will be taking place for the 32nd time and that is why people are expecting something more out of the event in comparison to previous years. The Houston Pride is not only meant for Gay and Lesbians but for everyone residing in the area. Each and every individual is given a warm welcome at the event.

The event takes place from 11 AM to 7 PM in Montrose which is considered as city’s main gay neighborhood. During the event the main Pride Stage performance takes place where artists from different origins and fields perform in front of thousands of people. Other stages are being built for music performance by different singers. Here you can enjoy any type of music that you want but the most popular in pop music which makes people grove on its tunes. There will be food stalls as well so that people can enjoy great food too. Above all the admission to Houston Pride Parade is free and you can enjoy it without spending money.
