Nebraska Pride is celebrating 25 years in the year 2010. The theme for this year has been announced which is one candle, in the darkness, ignited hope. The people who are behind this pride parade says that the theme has been derived from the history of the Nebraska pride only where it initially started with just a candle vigil and now it has turned into such a huge event that thousands of people visit the two day event every year. The entire festival which continues for two days is dedicated to diversity and at the festival events are held through which people are educated and given help of any kind they want. Through this event the GLBTQQS of Nebraska are given a chance where they can celebrate.

The Nebraska pride 2010 is being organized by a committee which is known as Rainbow Celebrations Which was founded in the year 2002. The community is a non profit company which has been working since years for educating and promoting social activities for Gay, Lesbian, Transgender and Bisexual people residing in Nebraska. If you want to be a part of this parade then it is really to do so. However there are many people who want to volunteer for Nebraska Pride and you can also do so but for that you need to contact to the organization who deals with the process of selection.
