The San Francisco Pride Parade is considered as the most prominent gay parade festivals around the world. For this year the event is going to take place on June 26 and June 27. San Francisco every year celebrates the Pride Parade in the end of June only as an honor to the lesbian and gay rights which were commenced on early morning of June 28, 1969. This year sources have revealed that the event will be more interesting and happening as it is the 40th year of San Francisco Pride. During the event many celebrations, parties and parades take place.

All the scheduled events at San Francisco Pride are divided into two days so that on both the days the visitors can enjoy to the fullest. On the first day, that is, June 26 the events start from noon and lasts till 6 in the evening at Civic Center.  On the second day which is June 27, parade on Market Street takes place from 10:30 AM and then again celebration is held at Civic Center from noon to 7 PM. On the first day a very popular event takes place which is known as the San Francisco Dykes on Bikes Pre Pride Party.
