This wonderful, German event takes over the entire city and becomes Cologne's event of the year. It's a must go - from the Big Parade on the Monday known as Rosenmontag followed by all the after-mid-before parties in city. 

You will find people everywhere, many dressed up, linking arms and singing traditional, cheesy German songs, knocking back the beer or looking for a toilet!
