Cologne, one of the most gay-welcoming cities of the world is going to arrange Cologne Gay Pride 2010 from 19th June to4th July. It is popularly called as Christopher Street Day. This event is attended by participant in millions from different corners of world. Cologne is not only rich in its culture and tradition but also is across the globe for its tolerance and equal attitude towards people having alternate sexual orientation. Though the main parade is a three days affair from July 2nd to forth, there are several events arranged from June 19 to August 7.


The Cologne Gay Pride will be an entertainment packed one. Street festival and the color party will be major attractions of this event. The street festival will be arranged by AIDS-Hilfe Cologne. This event will be attended by noted musicians and entertainers of the world. Notable performers at Cologne gay pride last year were Monrose, Serafim, Steffi List, Sharon Philips and Rene Gligee. During the Cologne Gay Pride event, multi-faceted cultural programs there will be several symposiums and discussions on GLBT right across the world. On July 4th, the much awaited parade will be held. Many of the restaurants, hotels and bars of Cologne are offering attractive packages during this event.
