Oxford pride festival is one of the most popular festivals in Oxford. People of Oxford eagerly wait for this day to come. The date has been announced for this year. The Oxford Pride Parade will take place on Saturday 12th of June. People of Oxford will celebrate the 3rd annual Pride Parade, which will start from Saxon Tower, the oldest building in town. The parade will start at 11:30 am. Then it will head towards the Commarket Street then Queen Street. From there it will head to Oxford Castle Bonn Square and Oxford Castle Market Square, the best place in the town. Finally, the parade will come to end, where the events of the pride festival will be celebrated.

The event will consist of numerous fun filled and colorful performances of the participants. The first event will open with DJ Visualist at 12 noon. The parade will arrive around 12:45 pm, which will be followed by a welcome speech. The Entertainment session 1 will begin at 1pm. At 2pm you can enjoy the event, ‘Best Dressed Costume Awards’, which will be followed by Entertainment session 2 at 2:10 pm. Then you can enjoy the Dog Show at 3:30 pm, which will be followed by the Entertainment session 3 at 3:40pm, Raffle Draw at 5pm, and Entertainment session 4 at 5:10pm. The festival will come to an end with a party at 8pm.
