Norwich is gearing up for the gala pride on 31st July, 2010. A flurry of activities has been scheduled to celebrate the occasion and the theme will be pure fun and gaiety. The organizers of the pride have scheduled auditions for Gay play at the Nelson Pub, Nelson Street. You can also enjoy the Norwich Dandies at the St Margaret's Church, on St Benedict's Street, Norwich. Additionally, stalls and lectures have been scheduled at the Forum, a picnic at the Chapelfield Gardens, and a parade to the Millennium Park through the entire city.

Other than these a lot of activities have been planned like musical extravaganza, performance by the musical groups and the bands which are sure to keep you enthralled. The Norwich Dandies, who are such a important part of the celebrations, are an group of poets, performers and artists who would be enthralling the audience with their performance at the St. Margaret’s Church at St. Benedict’s street throughout the event. Additionally, other elements of the pride include Badger the dog, T-shirt printing, lunchtime soapbox, human library, human chess and many more.
