Leeds Pride is one of the biggest LGBT events in Yorkshire that marks the celebration of annual Gay Pride. Organizers have been arranging it every year & are very excited about its fifth year (2010) which is going to coincide with the Yorkshire Day. A record breaking number of people from all over the world are expected attend this event this time. The Leeds LGBT Pride is still working out for special events on this occasion but White Rose traditionalists have few surprises in store for marchers when they will take to the streets in Leeds.

Yorkshire Day is set to make the fun double at Leeds Pride festival this year and thousands of local LGBT community, their families, friends & supports are booking for it in advance. The opening of the pride festival is going to be spectacular with dance performances, speeches, decorative stalls & live music & it all going to start as early as 11am at Millennium square. The pride parade will start off with loud music & good looking floats at around 3pm & move towards the main Gay village of Leeds through the road of the Calls. The party goers can have a halt at the Calls to enjoy a large street party organized there with drinks, musical events, street stalls & variety of entertaining programs. The street party is going to continue till late evening & people can enter the bars & night clubs in Leeds thereafter.
