The Plymouth Pride is one of the largest pride festivals organized in the Devon & Cornwall area of City Plymouth every year. The Plymouth City Council & the Plymouth Pride Event are working together to make this festival accessible to the LGBT community all over the world & give them a reason to fight against transphobic & homophobic hate crimes which are rampant these days. It has been successful in gaining the attention of international audience over the past four years. That’s why the number of attendees in this LGBT festival keeps on rising every year. 

The Plymouth Pride 2010 will be celebrated on 21st August to bring people an all day packed with fun activities in different gay venues of the city.

The organizers of Plymouth Pride have already started making advertisement for this soon to be going gay pride festival in Devon & Cornwall area. Everybody is expecting that a high number of people including family, friends & local LGBT community members will turn up in this special pride event. The chief attraction of this year will be the flag march starting from the Piazza at 12pm and ending in Plymouth Guildhall, the official destination for this year’s pride event. A special guest most likely a famous gay rights campaigner will inaugurate the pride festival at midday. Several new activities are included in the list of entertainment programs besides casual arts, music, dance & live performances. ‑­

The festival party is likely to continue till morning of 22nd August at different gay locations across the city.
