Dorchester Pride is a very big and an important event in Dorchester. It is celebrated with high energy level and full enthusiasm. This year the Dorchester Pride will be celebrated on 30th of August. Dorchester will celebrate the events in the same way as they have done it before. The chain of events will consist of the Parade and numerous fun filled and exciting events.

The Parade is the South Street procession, which will be a major event, and will be filled with the mixture of color, joy, and happiness. The Dorchester Pride will start from 8am. If you want to be in the parade, you have to reach Café Jagos before 1pm. The Dorchester Love Parade will start at 1pm. The parade will continue till evening.

The other main attraction of the Dorchester Pride is the South Street Parade. It will be a complete entertaining journey, which will be filled with the emotions of joy and happiness. You can participate in the South Street parade. It will start at 2 pm and will head towards South Street. From there it will move towards Nappers Mite. Nappers Mite will be the last location of this parade, and from there it will return back to its origin.

After the Dorchester Love Pride and South Street procession, it will be the time for the post-parade party. It will be a big party which will be packed with numerous events and shows. All the events will be held at the Café Jagos in High West Street. To join the post parade party you have to shell out 5 pounds as the entry fee. The major attraction of the post parade party will be the drag acts by the various participants. There will be also some events organized by the singers to raise some funds for the charity.
