Sparkle – the national transgender celebration is complete package of unlimited fun and entertainment. It has clubs, stage performances, meals, and many more. This year the chain of events will start from 9th of July and will continue till 11th of July. The entire weekend will be filled with numerous events which will be organized at different venues.

The national transgender celebrations will start with the opening ceremony at the Park. On Friday you can also have a great time at the events like Welcome to Sparkle at The Rembrant, Sparkle Launch Party at the AXM Bar, and Chinese Banquet Meal. On Saturday, the festival will start from 12:45 pm, and it will be accompanied by Chelsea Darling. The opening ceremony will be followed by many other events, which will continue till 7pm. Some of them are Gloria (Folk guitarist and singer),

Samantha Eames (Musician and Singer), Joey Hateley (Singer/Performer), January (Singer), The Strawberry Elephant Experience (Rock/ Pop band), and many more. By 9pm it will be the time for the event called The Manchester Concord Sparkle Ball, which will showcase the events like The Sparkle Ball and TV Chix Big Night Out which will be organized at The Place and New York New York respectively. Both of them will continue till late night.

Apart from them, you can also take part in various discussions and workshops which will be start from 10am and will continue till 4:30pm. These events will be held at The Mechanics Institute. There will be also some events at the Shang Hi restaurant, such as Natacha Kennedy, Denise Anderson, etc.
On the final day of the festival, you will get to see some more events like Sparkle Sunday lunch, Special Sparkle Church Service, etc. the festival will come to an end with The Closing Meal at Sangam.
