Worcester has always supported the issues related to the GLBT communities. Each and every year they celebrate the Worcester Gay Pride festival with the same enthusiasm. This year the date has been announced for the gay pride. This year the chain of events will take place on 18th of September 2010. Alike every year, this year we can expect huge crowd and tremendous response.

This year the theme for the gay pride is Uniting Communities. It means that everyone is invited to join this fun event.

Like every year, Worcester Pride will have three major events. The “Live” main stage area will be reserved for some of the exciting events like performances by the various artists. It will also be packed with live musical performances by the band groups. The third attraction will be the show, Pride’s Got Talent. It is an excellent platform to show your talent to the people around.

To keep the visitors entertained, members of Worcester Pride have organized many popular events like drag artists and dance troupes. If will also take you with surprise with the special appearance by the famous people. You will get to see some amazing performances by the dance troupes.
For those who love to drink beer and hang around, Worcester Pride is definitely a place where they need to be. It will also have a dance and beer tent. You can have some beer with your friends in the chill out area to share some quality time.

There are also few things for the children at Worcester Pride, such as Art, Interactive, Face painting, etc. you can pamper your taste buds at the fresh foods ad refreshment stalls and outlets. Apart from them, you can spend some quality time at the various market stalls, and many more.
