The English city of Nottingham has a sizeable gay Population who are in need of a community space for themselves, a space that would encourage them to be themselves. The festival of Nottingham Pride grants them this very community space. This is a festival that endorses the equality among the LGBT population in the region. The festival aims to cherish the freedom and liberty of the people of the LGBT community in the region. The festival of Nottingham Pride is open to everyone regardless of their race, religion, faith, gender and gender identity. In fact, this very diversity among people is celebrated with this festival.
The festival of Nottingham Pride was celebrated on July 25 in the year 2009. The event was organized by a group of dedicated volunteers who gave their time and effort free of cost to make the festival one of the finest Pride festival in the Midlands. The Pride Parade formed the core of the festival. The Pride Parade was a colorful rally including walkers, dancers and floats that celebrated the essence of gay liberty, which forms the core of this festival. The festival grows in its grandeur every year.
