All the information on here about Rio seems to have been done in 2009, which is a long time ago.... I have added a review of one place in Rio de Janeiro - The Copacabana Sauna. I recently spent four days in Rio for New Year 2012 and quite frankly was disappointed after all the hype I had read about Rio....Especially as it was to be a highlight of my holiday, but after visiting Peru and Chile where all the people I met were wonderful and friendly, I found the people in Rio exactly the opposite, not rude, but so taken up with themselves that they find it impossible to even take the time to welcome you as a guest to their city. Strangely this only seems to apply to people from Rio, I met visitors to Rio, there for the NYE celebrations, from other parts of Brazil and they were fine, in spite of the language difficulties which you will surely encounter when visiting Rio.
