Gay Pride Parade

People from all over the world get together to rally and hold parades, festivals and similar events to celebrate gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender life and to commemorate the history of LGBT rights and  identity.

Symbols of LGBT pride include the rainbow flag, the Greek lambda symbol, and the pink as well as black triangles reclaimed from their past use. Most Gay Pride events happen around June to comemorate the Stonewall riots, which led to the establishment of the Gay Pride Movement worldwide.

You can get details of each of the Gay Pride events in detail right here on Gaypedia.
