Munich is an easy city to get around, plus everyone there are really friendly, however we were told it is the most expensive city in Germany - as told by the tanning booth worker. We did spend lots of money too!

The tubes and trains seem easy to use, but we choose to walk and it is small enough to do it. There are always bikes to hire, and I would definitely do that - Mike's Bikes are an easy bet!

The gay bars are pretty much in just one area of the city so no need to learn where it all is!

The best place to go for a Friday is meant to be Match, a club which is more towards the centre (okay, this one is totally out of the gay area), we didn't rate it too much, bit young for us, it's for a crowd of about 18 - 25 years. We ended up in Bau followed by a bar crawl, Bau had a monthly foam party which was pretty cool!

NYClub is excellent for Saturday, cool atmosphere and mixed aged crowd - the music is pretty cool too.

Mainly gay bars and only a few mixed lesbian gay bars so worth reading the reviews. There was one bar I saw quite a few lesbians and women in, otherwise we saw lesbian couples in Munich during the day.

According to the tan booth worker Munich is where people, work, go home, eat and sleep with 2 weeks a year letting rip at the Oktober Fest.
