Apartment / Condo, Paris
The living room of the apartment is furnished with an inviting leather couch. Several guide books and picture books on Paris, the local region, and France are also available. On the wall, you can find a replica of the Plan Turgot, the first scale map of Paris, made for Louis XV in 1739. The apartment is equiped with cable TV with several foreign-language channels. The original hardwood floor has been restored and retains its natural beauty. The two large full-size windows, as well as the window nearer to the kitchen fill the room with plenty of daylight. On some evenings you can look down from one of the windows into an active painters' workshop. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and a towel heater. Linen and towels included. While the apartment is decorated and furnished in traditional French style, the kitchen is equipped with several "modern" comforts such as a fridge with a fully enclosed freezer for storing frozen foods, a two-burner stovetop, an oven, a coffee maker and toaster. In addition, there are many basic cooking utensils and several table settings. In the event of an emergency, you'll find a first-aid kit and a fire extinguisher in the kitchen as well. There is also a washer and dryer. In keeping with the style of the apartment, the bed, the wardrobe, and the bedside table are made of beautiful European Oak. The room is also furnished with a solid wood desk and a computer with Internet access. The bedroom still has its original hardwood floor. The red wallpaper complements the marble fireplace, which is, however, no longer usable. The apartment is quiet and guarantee peaceful nights, because all of the windows in the apartment open onto one of two inner courtyards. On request, you can get a supplementary twin-size roll-out futon to accomodate a third person.
